Surf and Turf Sandwich

  • 3 slices Abbott’s Bakery® Light Rye (fresh) (for single serve option, use 2 slices of bread)
  • 2 leaves of green oak lettuce
  • 100g glazed ham, sliced (for single serve option use 50g glazed ham)
  • 100g cooked prawns, peeled (for single serve option use 50g prawns)
  • 1 tbs Tartare sauce, extra to serve
  • ½ lemon, juiced, extra to serve
  • 1 tbs green pickle relish
  • Micro sorrel herbs, to serve


  1. Lay 3 slices of Abbott’s Bakery® Light Rye on a clean work surface.
  2. Spread green pickle relish on one slice of bread, place lettuce leaves and then top with ham slices.
  3. Add a slice of bread on top of the sandwich and spread tartare sauce.
  4. Place prawns and scatter with micro herbs and extra tartare sauce.
  5. Top with a third slice, slice into halves and serve with extra lemon.
