Provolone and Ham Melt

2 slices Abbott’s Bakery® Sourdough White (toasted)
2 tsps mayonnaise
1 tsps mango chutney
2 slices shaved leg ham
1/2 pear, sliced thinly, plus extra wedges
50g roasted red peppers, well drained
1 slice provolone cheese
2 tsps unsalted butter, softened


  1. Spread each slice of Abbott’s Bakery® Sourdough White with 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise and another slice with 1 teaspoon of mango chutney.
  2. Preheat a griddle pan over medium heat.
  3. Top the mango chutney slice with shaved ham, pear slices, roasted peppers and provolone cheese. Top with the mayonnaise slice, side down.
  4. Brush the outsides of the bread with butter and place onto the griddle pan.
  5. Cook for 4 minutes on each side or until the bread is lightly golden and the cheese has melted.
  6. Slice and serve sandwiches topped with pear wedges.
